Welcome to the 2022 DSC-WAV Faculty Development Summer Workshop!

This year’s Workshop is divided into two parts:

Data Science Symposium

Monday, June 13, 2022

Goal: Bring together stakeholders in data science education from across the Commonwealth to discuss common strategies, points of friction, and opportunities.

Audience: Faculty, department chairs, academic leadership, and other stakeholders

Faculty Development Workshop

Tuesday, June 14 – Friday, June 17, 2022

Goal: Prepare community college instructors to teach an introductory data science course.

Audience: Faculty (who will also participate in Monday’s symposium)
